Hôtel Ancien Château

Le château de Hugenpoet a été mentionné pour la première fois dès le 8ème siècle, lorsqu'il était le manoir de Charlemagne. Le château a été complètement détruit pendant des querelles au 15ème siècle et il a été reconstruit près de ses ruines. Il a pris la forme qu'il a aujourd'hui au 17e siècle et a d'abord été utilisé comme résidence privée, puis comme lieu d'accueil temporaire pour un musée. Dans les années 1950, le château a été transformé en hôtel.
