Attributed to the Brescia’s architect Gaspare Turbini, the environment that houses the staircase is embellished with stucco pilasters with capitals and a wooden ceiling centred on the central ramp bordered by an elegant railing of stone columns, which leads to the base of a large fresco depicting the struggle of Hercules with the lion of Nemea.
